Jeremy Phillip Felton, known professionally as Jeremih, is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer from Chicago, Illinois, celebrated for his smooth, soulful vocal style and modern production sensibilities. Rising to fame with his 2009 debut single "Birthday Sex," which reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100, Jeremih quickly established himself as a chart-topping artist; his self-titled debut album and follow-up hits like "Down on Me" (featuring 50 Cent) and "Don't Tell 'Em" (featuring YG) solidified his presence in contemporary R&B. Over his career, he has amassed 21 Billboard Hot 100 hits, multiple platinum certifications, and collaborations with stars such as Ty Dolla Sign, 50 Cent, and Chris Brown, while also earning award nominations including a Grammy nod for Best R&B Performance. Known for his multi-instrumental talents and background in jazz and percussion, Jeremih continues to evolve artistically, recently departing from Def Jam after 15 years to pursue independent releases, including his 2024 single "Wait on It".
