She rose to fame as a member of the globally acclaimed girl group BLACKPINK, which debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. Jennie made her solo debut in 2018 with the hit single "Solo," which became a landmark success, topping charts and breaking records, including being the first K-pop solo female artist's music video to surpass one billion views on YouTube.
In addition to her musical achievements, she has ventured into acting, making her debut in the HBO series The Idol in 2023. Jennie's influence extends beyond music; she is recognized for her fashion sense and has been dubbed the "Human Chanel," serving as a global ambassador for the brand. In 2023, she established her own label, Odd Atelier, and signed a solo deal with Columbia Records, further solidifying her status as a versatile and influential figure in the entertainment industry.
