Jammer, born Jahmek Levi Selassie Power on June 30, 1982, is a prominent British grime MC, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known for his role as a member of the influential grime collective Boy Better Know and as a former member of N.A.S.T.Y Crew. Jammer gained recognition in the early 2000s and has made significant contributions to the grime scene, including the creation of the iconic Lord of the Mics series, which showcases clashes between artists and has become a cultural staple in the genre. His debut album, Jahmanji, was released in 2010 under Big Dada Recordings, followed by other projects that highlight his evolution as an artist. Known for his witty lyrics and engaging performances, Jammer has solidified his status as a key figure in grime music, influencing a new generation of artists while continuing to produce and collaborate within the scene.
