James Vickery is a prominent R&B artist from the UK, known for his soulful and hypnotic sound steeped in shimmering electronica and contemporary R&B. Hailing from South London, Vickery gained widespread attention after his hugely popular COLORS session amassed 23 million views, propelling him into the spotlight as the new face of UK R&B. His music is characterized by its soul-inflected tunes and his unique, dusky balladeer style, which has resonated with audiences and critics alike.
Vickery's musical journey began in the early 2010s, initially as a folksy singer/songwriter, before branching out into a solo career that has seen him collaborate with established names in the industry. His debut EP, "Complexion," was released in 2017, followed by a second EP, "Until Morning," in 2018.
