Jack Wharff is a rising musician from Richmond, Virginia, best known as the frontman of The Jack Wharff Band, a group that blends bluegrass, country, and rock into a distinctive sound. Growing up immersed in bluegrass through his father’s band, The Slack Family, Wharff developed a deep connection to music at an early age and began writing songs as a teenager to channel raw emotions. Alongside drummer Garrett Howell, bassist Ryan Atchison, and guitarist Evan Novoa, Wharff formed the band after meeting his future bandmates at an open mic night in Richmond. Their viral TikTok and Reels videos showcasing original songs have propelled them to widespread acclaim, earning them a record deal with Big Machine Records and a loyal fanbase.
