Hollow Coves is an Australian indie folk band formed in 2013, consisting of members Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins, who both contribute vocals and guitar. Originating from the Gold Coast, Queensland, the duo gained initial recognition by recording music in a garage and uploading it online, which quickly led to their breakout success on platforms like Spotify.
Their debut EP, "Drifting," was released in 2014, followed by their first full-length album, "Moments," in 2019. Known for their atmospheric sound, rich vocal harmonies, and introspective lyrics, Hollow Coves draws inspiration from artists such as Angus & Julia Stone and Ben Howard. In January 2024, they announced the release of their second studio album, "Nothing to Lose," produced by Matt Corby, further solidifying their presence in the indie music scene.
