hey, nothing are an indie folk rock duo hailing from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, composed of Tyler Mabry and Harlow Phillips. The pair began recording music together while still in high school, quickly developing a unique sound that blends introspective lyricism with warm, melodic indie folk and rock influences.
After building a following with a series of self-released singles and EPs, hey, nothing turned heads in 2022 with their debut full-length album "We're Starting to Look Like Each Other." The record's standouts like "Sober" and "Sunkissed" showcased Mabry and Phillips' talents for crafting infectious yet introspective indie folk rock tracks with captivating harmonies.
Following a headline tour that summer, they continued to gain momentum with their intimate, emotionally resonant songwriting and engaging live performances. Drawing comparisons to acts like Big Thief and Bon Iver, the Georgia-based duo deftly walks the line between vulnerability and anthemic indie rock energy.
