Hazlett is an Australian-born, Sweden-based singer-songwriter who has carved out a unique niche in the music industry with his emotive storytelling and atmospheric sound. Initially working as a touring musician and ghostwriter, Hazlett found his own voice as a solo artist after a serendipitous trip to Stockholm, where he emerged with three EPs of rich, warm music.
His breakthrough came with the 2019 folk-indie song "Monsters," which garnered millions of streams, and he has since released his debut album "Bloom Mountain". Hazlett's music blends classic singer-songwriter elements with hazy, textured production, influenced by artists like Bruce Springsteen, Bon Iver, and The National. His songwriting process is deeply personal, using music as a form of therapy and expression, and his collaboration with producer Freddy Alexander has helped shape his sound beyond traditional acoustic fare into something more expansive and emotionally resonant.
