Hamzaa, born Cassandra-Malika Hamza in Dalston, Hackney, London, is a British-Kenyan singer-songwriter known for her soulful R&B and emotionally vulnerable lyrics. Raised in East London, she developed a passion for music early on, learning piano and writing songs from the age of nine. Hamzaa's mother supported her artistic interests by enrolling her in performing arts and stage schools.
