Greylan James is a rising star in the country music scene, known for his heartfelt songwriting and compelling performances. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, James received his first guitar from his grandfather at the age of five, sparking a lifelong passion for music. He moved to Nashville at 18, quickly establishing himself as a talented songwriter, penning hits for notable artists like Kenny Chesney, Chris Young, and Jordan Davis, with the latter's "Next Thing You Know" becoming his first No. 1 hit. With over 650 million streams to his name, James has proven his prowess in the writer's room.
Now, he is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist with his debut single "Young Man," a deeply personal track dedicated to his late grandfather. Having toured with Old Dominion and set to join Cole Swindell's TWELVE TOUR, Greylan James is poised to make a significant impact on the country music landscape with his blend of traditional and contemporary sounds.
