Grace VanderWaal, born on January 15, 2004, in Lenexa, Kansas, is an acclaimed American singer, songwriter, and actress who gained fame as the winner of the 11th season of America's Got Talent in 2016 at the age of 12. Known for her unique voice and ukulele performances, she quickly captured the hearts of audiences with her original compositions, including her breakout song "I Don't Know My Name."
Following her victory, VanderWaal released her debut EP, Perfectly Imperfect, which became the best-selling EP of 2016, and her first full-length album, Just the Beginning, debuted on the Billboard 200. In addition to her music career, she has ventured into acting, starring in Disney+'s Stargirl and its sequel, Hollywood Stargirl. VanderWaal has received multiple awards, including Radio Disney Music Awards and a Teen Choice Award, and has been recognized on Billboard's 21 Under 21 list for several years, highlighting her impact as a rising star in the music industry.
