Glom is a Brooklyn-based indie rock band formed from high school friends originally from the Washington D.C. suburbs, including members Sean Dunnevant, Peter Beiser, Sahil Ansari, Jonathan Crandall, Jonathan Harwood, and Jordan Wolff. Emerging around 2014 with roots in cover bands, they solidified their lineup and sound by 2018, blending ‘90s alternative rock influences with ‘80s pop atmospheres and melodic classic rock sensibilities. Known for their textured guitar riffs, keyboard washes, and agile harmonies, Glom balances moody introspection with energetic melodies. They have released two albums, Bond (2019) and Merit (2020), which received positive critical response and radio play, with songs like “Glass,” “I Wanted the Real Thing,” and “Below” typifying their sound. Dedicated to authentic production and vinyl releases, Glom’s music is praised for its nostalgic yet fresh indie rock vibe, reflecting their long-term friendship and diverse musical influences from childhood through college and beyond.
