Four Year Strong is an American pop-punk and easycore band formed in 2001 in Worcester, Massachusetts, while its founding members were still in high school at Doherty Memorial High School. The current lineup features vocalists and guitarists Dan O'Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jake Massucco (also referred to as Jackson in some sources), who have driven the band's high-energy sound blending infectious pop-punk hooks, hardcore breakdowns, and motivational lyrics often referencing '90s pop culture. Over two decades, they've released eight studio albums, including early works like Rise or Die Trying (2007) on I Surrender Records, a self-titled album in 2015, and their most recent, Analysis Paralysis on August 9, 2024, via Pure Noise Records, while maintaining a relentless touring schedule and a niche for "happycore" that mixes aggression with singalong choruses.
