FKA twigs is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor celebrated for her genre-defying and avant-garde approach to music and performance. Beginning her career as a backup dancer for artists like Ed Sheeran and Kylie Minogue, she released her debut EP, EP1, in 2012, followed by the critically acclaimed EP2 (2013) and her breakthrough debut album LP1 (2014), which earned a Mercury Prize nomination and established her as a visionary in experimental pop and R&B. Her subsequent releases, including the EP M3LL155X (2015), the emotionally charged album Magdalene (2019), the mixtape Caprisongs (2022), and her 2025 album Eusexua, have further solidified her reputation for blending electronic, trip-hop, R&B, hyperpop, and avant-garde influences into a singular, boundary-pushing sound. FKA twigs is also known for her striking visual artistry, innovative music videos, and deeply personal lyrical themes, making her one of the most influential and acclaimed artists of her generation.
