Finger Eleven is a Canadian rock band formed in Burlington, Ontario in 1990. Originally known as Rainbow Butt Monkeys, the group changed their name and rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their unique blend of alternative rock, post-grunge, and hard rock styles. The band consists of Scott Anderson (lead vocals), James Black (guitar), Rick Jackett (guitar), Sean Anderson (bass), and Steve Molella (drums).
Finger Eleven has released seven studio albums and achieved significant commercial success, particularly with their self-titled 2003 album, which went Gold in the United States and Platinum in Canada. Their hit singles include "One Thing," which reached number 16 on the US Hot 100 chart, and "Paralyzer," which topped the Canadian Hot 100 and both US rock charts. Throughout their career, Finger Eleven has won multiple awards, including a Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year in 2008, and has established themselves as one of Canada's most successful rock acts.
