Eryn Allen Kane is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan, known for her soulful voice and introspective lyrics. After moving to Chicago for college and staying in the city’s music scene, she gained wider attention with her debut EP Aviary: Act I in 2015 and its follow‑up Aviary: Act II in 2016, while also collaborating with artists such as Chance the Rapper, Prince, and Killer Mike. Her work often explores themes of generational trauma, family, and healing, culminating in projects like the 2019 EP A Tree Planted by Water and the Grammy‑winning feature on Killer Mike’s “Scientists & Engineers” in 2024.
