After relocating to Nashville just before the COVID-19 pandemic, he quickly gained attention with his viral rendition of Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license," which showcased his unique style. Marlowe's songwriting prowess was further highlighted when he co-wrote Jon Pardi's hit "Last Night Lonely," marking his first Number One as a songwriter.
In July 2023, he released his debut EP, Dirt Road When I Die, under Sony Music Nashville, featuring the popular single "Boys Back Home," a collaboration with Dylan Scott. His upcoming studio album, Mid-Twenties Crisis, set for release on September 27, 2024, promises to delve into the complexities of young adulthood through a blend of heartfelt storytelling and contemporary country sounds.
