DannyLux, born Daniel Balderrama Espinoza on March 12, 2004, in Palm Springs, California, is an emerging American singer-songwriter recognized for his contributions to the regional Mexican genre. He gained significant attention with his hit song "Jugaste y Sufrí," a collaboration with Eslabón Armado, which introduced him to a broader audience and has amassed over 230 million views on YouTube. Growing up in a family of Mexican immigrants, DannyLux was influenced by his heritage from an early age. He began his musical journey at six when he discovered a guitar his father found and later honed his skills in church choirs. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he started posting covers on TikTok, leading to original compositions that captured the interest of industry figures. After signing with VPS Music and later Warner Music Latina, he released his debut album Las Dos Caras del Amor in 2021, followed by several successful EPs and singles. Notably, he opened for Coldplay during their tour in Mexico and performed at Coachella 2023. With a growing discography and collaborations with notable artists, DannyLux is quickly becoming a prominent figure in contemporary Latin music.
