Danny L Harle is a British music producer and composer celebrated for his boundary-pushing approach to pop and electronic music. Born in 1989 and the son of renowned saxophonist John Harle, he studied classical music at Goldsmiths and later completed a postgrad at the Guildhall School of Music, developing a style that blends classical influences with experimental pop and rave sounds. Harle first gained prominence as a founding member of the influential PC Music collective, collaborating closely with A. G. Cook under the project Dux Content and releasing the breakout single "Broken Flowers" in 2013, which signaled his knack for merging 1990s dance nostalgia with modern pop. He has produced, written, and remixed for high-profile artists such as Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Dua Lipa, and Clairo, notably executive producing Polachek’s acclaimed albums Pang and Desire, I Want to Turn Into You. Harle’s debut solo album, Harlecore (2021), showcased his rave-inspired alter egos and genre-blending production. In recent years, he co-produced Dua Lipa’s “Houdini” and masterminded Olly Alexander’s 2025 album Polari, cementing his reputation as one of pop’s most visionary and versatile producers.
