Daniel Caplen, known by his stage name D/C, is a British R&B singer and songwriter born on March 27, 1992, in London. He gained prominence after the release of his debut EP Epiphany in 2014, which led to a record deal with Atlantic Records. Caplen's career took off significantly with his contribution to Rudimental's hit single "These Days" in 2018, which reached number one in the UK and has amassed over a billion streams on Spotify. In addition to his successful collaborations, including work with artists like Macklemore and Jess Glynne, Caplen won an Ivor Novello Award for PRS for Music Most Performed Work in 2019, solidifying his reputation as a talented songwriter and performer in the contemporary music scene.
