DaBaby, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk on December 22, 1991, in Cleveland, Ohio, is a prominent American rapper who gained widespread recognition with his energetic style and catchy hooks. After releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018, he signed with Interscope Records in 2019, marking his mainstream breakthrough with the debut studio album Baby on Baby.
The album featured the hit single "Suge," which propelled him into the limelight. His follow-up albums, Kirk (2019) and Blame It on Baby (2020), both debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with the latter featuring the chart-topping single "Rockstar" featuring Roddy Ricch.
