Cortisa Star, born July 11, 2005, is an American transgender rapper and model from Sussex County, Delaware. She rose to prominence with her viral 2024 single "Fun," which gained traction on TikTok and Twitter, leading to widespread recognition and co-signs from artists like Charli XCX. Cortisa began making music in late 2022 after jokingly calling herself an "underground rap princess," quickly building a significant following with her sharp, genre-blurring style that combines drill-pop, hyperpop, and trap influences. Known for her bold lyrics addressing trans identity and social issues, she released her debut EP "E.M.O (Evil Motion Overload)" in 2025 and made her runway debut for Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week the same year, establishing herself as a rising star in both music and fashion.
