Childish Gambino, the stage name of Donald McKinley Glover, is a multifaceted American artist known for his work as an actor, comedian, writer, director, and musician. Born on September 25, 1983, Glover has made significant contributions to various entertainment fields, notably in music under his pseudonym Childish Gambino. The artist has a diverse and acclaimed discography. His musical style spans across hip-hop, R&B, and funk, with notable influences from psychedelic soul and pop rap. His discography includes four studio albums, fourteen mixtapes, and four EPs, with an upcoming album which will serve as the soundtrack to "Bando Stone & the New World."
In addition to his music career, Glover is renowned for his acting, particularly in the television series "Atlanta," which he created, stars in, and occasionally directs. The show has received critical acclaim for its innovative narrative style and exploration of social and racial issues. Glover's acting portfolio also includes roles in "Community," "The Martian," "Solo: A Star Wars Story," and most recently, the Amazon Original series "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," of which Glover is also the co-creator.
