Buunshin is the alias of Ferry Mellegers, a Dutch drum and bass producer from Rotterdam who has rapidly become one of the genre’s most innovative and respected artists. His alias, inspired by the Japanese word “bunshin” meaning “embodiment” or “alias,” reflects his approach to music as a way to channel a different version of himself and process personal experiences.
