Brendan Walter is a Dallas-born singer-songwriter who transitioned from a successful semi-professional and collegiate hockey career to music, following his lifelong passion after retiring from hockey in 2023. Raised in a musical household, he honed his craft performing at renowned Austin venues before moving to Nashville, where he released his debut album, I Don’t Know What I’m Doing Yet, in November 2024 and gained traction with his collaboration “If A Song Could Change Your Mind” with Low Gap. Walter’s storytelling-driven country-folk sound draws on influences like Mumford & Sons and Tyler Childers, and his authentic lyrics reflect personal growth and resilience, as showcased in his 2025 single “Normal Day”. Recently signed to RECORDS Nashville and Sony Music Nashville, Walter has opened for artists such as Wyatt Flores and Evan Honer, performed at CMA Fest, and is building a dedicated following with plans for headlining shows across the U.S..
