Bodine Koehler Peña, known professionally as Bodine, is a Dutch-born Puerto Rican singer, musician, model, and former beauty queen celebrated for her eclectic musical style that fuses alternative, reggaeton, pop, and various Latin genres. Raised in San Juan after moving from Amsterdam as a child, Bodine is classically trained in piano and composition, having attended music school from a young age. Her journey into music was shaped by a diverse upbringing, listening to icons like Britney Spears, Madonna, Shakira, and Latin legends such as Daddy Yankee and Ivy Queen, resulting in a sound that blends global pop influences with salsa, bachata, and merengue. After winning Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012 and representing the island at Miss Universe, Bodine transitioned to music, recently releasing the EP "Quemo Lento" and singles like "No Me Quiere Mas Na," which showcase her sensual vocals and genre-blending artistry. Her performances, including appearances at SXSW, highlight her dynamic stage presence and commitment to evolving her sound, making her a standout figure in contemporary Latin music
