Big Gigantic is an American instrumental duo from Boulder, Colorado, known for blending electronic music with live jazz, hip-hop, funk, and dubstep elements. Formed in 2008 by saxophonist and producer Dominic Lalli, a classically trained jazz musician from the Manhattan School of Music, and drummer Jeremy Salken, the band gained attention for their unique fusion of dance beats with live instrumental performance. They debuted with the albums "Fire It Up" and "Wide Awake" in 2009, pioneering a bass-heavy, saxophone-driven sound that sets them apart in the EDM scene. Over the years, Big Gigantic has released multiple albums including the well-received "Brighter Future," collaborating with artists like Logic and Waka Flocka Flame. Their dynamic live shows featuring lights and lasers have earned them major festival appearances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza, as well as headlining Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Their music has also been featured in commercials, sports broadcasts, and film trailers, highlighting their wide-reaching influence in modern electronic music.
