Berhana, born Amain Berhane, is an American singer-songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, known for his unique blend of R&B, neo-soul, and East African influences. He first gained recognition with his self-titled EP in 2016, featuring the popular track "Grey Luh," which was highlighted in Donald Glover's Atlanta.
Berhana's music is deeply influenced by his Ethiopian heritage, incorporating Amharic vocals and traditional Ethiopian sounds. His debut album HAN was released in 2019, followed by his sophomore album Amén: የዘላን ህልም (The Nomad’s Dream) in 2023, which explores themes of personal growth and diasporic identity. Berhana's work is celebrated for its introspective lyrics and innovative fusion of genres.
