Ben Kweller is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born on June 16, 1981. He began his music career early, starting with drums at age seven and songwriting by eight. Kweller was initially known as the frontman of the band Radish before embarking on a solo career, during which he released six solo albums and created a unique blend of indie folk, Americana, pop, and rock. His 2002 album "Sha Sha" gained significant attention with hits like "Wasted & Ready." Known for his energetic live performances and a diverse sound extending from folk-pop to punk, Kweller has continued evolving, integrating country influences and rock elements in later works. He also runs his own record label, The Noise Company. Personal tragedy, including the loss of his teenage son, has influenced his music and creative outlook, deepening the emotional resonance of his songs in recent years. Kweller remains active in touring and recording, maintaining a dedicated fan base with his honest, spirited songwriting and performances.
