Bakar is an English singer-songwriter known for his experimental indie rock style. He grew up in Camden, North London, and began creating music in 2015 by sampling tracks from artists like Bombay Bicycle Club and King Krule. Bakar made his professional solo debut with the mixtape Badkid in May 2018, which included the popular single "Hell n Back," solidifying his presence in the music scene. His debut album, "Nobody's Home," was released on February 25, 2022, followed by his second album, "Halo," on September 22, 2023. Bakar's music often blends elements of indie, rap, rock, and punk, showcasing his versatility as an artist. He has gained acclaim for his electrifying performances and has been recognized as one of Britain's most exciting new acts, continuing to push the boundaries of contemporary music with his unique sound and engaging storytelling.
