Ava Max, born Amanda Ava Koci on February 16, 1994, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American singer and songwriter known for her powerful vocals and catchy pop anthems. She began her music career in 2008 but gained significant recognition after signing with Atlantic Records in 2016. Her breakthrough came with the release of "Sweet but Psycho" in August 2018, which topped charts in over 20 countries and reached number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Following this success, she released several hit singles, including "So Am I" and "Kings & Queens," both of which further established her as a prominent figure in contemporary pop music. Ava Max's debut studio album, Heaven & Hell, was released in September 2020 and showcased her signature blend of theatrical pop and themes of empowerment. In January 2023, she released her second album, Diamonds & Dancefloors, continuing to captivate audiences with her distinctive sound and vibrant style. With a growing fanbase and numerous accolades, Ava Max is recognized as one of the leading voices in the modern pop landscape.
