Annika Bennett is a New York-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for her blend of indie pop, folk, and country influences, with introspective and thought-provoking lyrics. She began writing songs at age nine, inspired by the Beatles, and by her early teens had written hundreds of songs and led an all-girl rock band. After studying pop music production at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, she moved to Nashville to work with Sony Records before choosing to pursue an independent artist path, focusing on songwriting born from solitude. Her music is characterized by honest, reflective storytelling and melodic craftsmanship, earning her multiple awards including the ASCAP Foundation Robert Allen Award. Bennett has released several acclaimed projects, including her 2023 Madwoman EP and her 2024 debut album Live From Mother Earth, which showcases her authentic voice and lyrical depth. She has performed at major festivals like SXSW and Capitol Hill Block Party and collaborated with artists such as Jordy Searcy and Anna Mae, steadily building a dedicated fanbase through her compelling performances and genre-crossing sound.
