Annahstasia is a Nigerian-American singer-songwriter and visual artist from Los Angeles, known for her soulful, cinematic approach to music and her exploration of themes like home, identity, nature, and femininity. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Bill Withers, Nina Simone, and Janis Joplin, she taught herself guitar and began writing songs in her teens, eventually releasing her first solo project, Sacred Bull, in 2019. Her subsequent releases include the EPs Revival (2023) and Surface Tension (2024), and her debut album Tether (2025), which received critical acclaim. Annahstasia’s artistry is marked by her acrobatic, emotive vocals and a songwriting style that channels a dreamlike, Americana-infused narrative, often blurring the lines between fantasy and reality. She has also toured internationally, including opening for Lenny Kravitz, and was featured in the music video for Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s "Luther".
