Andrew McMahon is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist and primary lyricist for the bands Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. He was born on September 3, 1982 in Concord, Massachusetts. McMahon is known for his emotive songwriting, atmospheric production, and ability to connect with audiences through his live performances. He has collaborated with various artists and has received recognition for his work, including Grammy nominations.
In addition to his music career, McMahon has been open about his personal life experiences, including his battle with leukemia in his early 20s, which he documented in the 2009 film "Dear Jack."McMahon continues to tour and perform, captivating audiences with his unique blend of pop, rock, and electronic music. His memoir, "Three Pianos," published in 2021, provides an intimate look into his life and musical journey.
