Alexandra Savior McDermott, born on June 14, 1995, in Portland, Oregon, is an American singer-songwriter known for her atmospheric and dreamy psychedelic sound often categorized as "desert rock." She gained initial recognition at the age of 17 when Courtney Love praised her YouTube cover of "Big Jet Plane," leading to a significant career shift. After moving to Los Angeles in 2013, she signed with Columbia Records and released her debut album, Belladonna of Sadness, in 2017.
