Alexander Glantz, known professionally as Alexander 23, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer born on January 23, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois. He began his music career in earnest after dropping out of the University of Pennsylvania, where he had been studying engineering. His breakthrough came in 2019 with the release of his debut single "Dirty AF1s," which gained significant traction on Spotify and led to his signing with Interscope Records.
Since then, Alexander has collaborated with high-profile artists like Olivia Rodrigo and Selena Gomez, co-producing hits such as Rodrigo's "Good 4 U," which topped the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album "Aftershock," released in July 2022, showcased his songwriting prowess and solidified his status in the indie pop scene, earning him a Grammy nomination for his work on Rodrigo's acclaimed album Sour. Alexander continues to build on his success with a growing discography and a reputation for heartfelt lyrics that resonate with a wide audience.
