Acceptance is an American alternative rock band formed in 1998 in Seattle, Washington. They gained recognition with their debut EP, Lost for Words, released in 2000, followed by the EP Black Lines to Battlefields in 2003 and their first full-length album, Phantoms, in 2005. The band is known for its melodic sound and introspective lyrics, which resonated with fans of the early 2000s emo and pop-punk scenes. After a breakup in 2006, Acceptance reunited in 2015 and released a new single, "Take You Away." Their sophomore album, Colliding by Design, came out in 2017, followed by Wild, Free in 2020, showcasing their continued evolution as artists while maintaining their signature sound.
