Aaron Hibell is an emerging British producer, composer, and electronic artist known for his unique blend of orchestral productions and electronic music. Hailing from a small village in England, Hibell gained recognition during the pandemic by performing in front of an abandoned monastery in Norfolk and sharing videos of these sets on TikTok. This innovative approach helped lay the foundation for his burgeoning career. Hibell's signature 'Monastery of Sound' mixtape series, which he releases exclusively on SoundCloud, has become a vehicle for developing his distinctive style and expanding his artistry. He has released three installments of this series, along with two EPs: 'Twilight Zone' (2023) and 'Astral Projection' (2024). Hibell has also collaborated with award-winning composer Lorne Balfe on the soundtrack for the 2023 film 'Tetris' and has performed at notable venues such as Boiler Room London and Iceland's Hallgrimskirkja church. His music spans various genres, from uptempo trance to ambient orchestral pieces, showcasing his versatility as an artist. Hibell's approach to creativity involves removing pressure from the process, often engaging in one-hour track challenges to maintain spontaneity and experimentation in his work.
