The Black Keys signed with Coran Capshaw & David Adcock of Red Light Management. The announcement comes just two weeks after the band's split with Irving Azoff of Full Stop & Steve Moir of Moir Entertainment.
The Black Keys are released by Warner Records UK/Warner Records/Fat Possum Records/ANTI-/Nonesuch Records, booked by CAA & published by Wixen Music Publishing/Strictly Confidential.
The Black Keys are an American rock duo formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001, consisting of Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums). Known for their raw blues rock sound, the band initially gained a following through self-produced albums and extensive touring of small clubs. Their breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed album "Rubber Factory" (2004), leading to a major label deal with Nonesuch Records.
The duo achieved commercial success with the album "Brothers" (2010) and its hit single "Tighten Up," followed by the Grammy-winning "El Camino" (2011). Despite internal tensions and a brief hiatus, they continued to release successful albums, including "Turn Blue" (2014) and "'Let's Rock'" (2019). Their latest album, "Ohio Players" (2024), was well-received, though their North American tour faced challenges, leading to its cancellation and subsequent rescheduling for smaller venues.
