Announcing ROSTR's College Program

The music industry thrives on the incredible talent of writers, producers, engineers, and performers. At ROSTR, we believe that the people supporting that talent behind the scenes are just as essential.

That's why we're excited to announce a pilot program supporting some of the best music business schools in the US, including USC, Berklee, Syracuse, NYU, UCLA, CSU, Columbia, University of Michigan, Drexel, and Hofstra. These programs are dedicated to developing the next generation of music industry professionals that are so crucial to the future of the music business.

ROSTR is committed to transparency and access to data. We want to ensure that students have access to these essential resources from the very beginning of their careers, just as we've been helping countless professionals in the music industry. Through this program, we're extending that advantage to students at no cost.

Connecting students with the music industry

Through this partnership, students will gain access to ROSTR and our platforms via their college or university at no cost. This will equip students to find job opportunities or internships on Jobs by ROSTR, learn what tools music executives use in their day-to-day with Stack by ROSTR, stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and data on ROSTR Insider, and start understanding the ecosystem and building their networks using ROSTR.

We've already begun the process of demonstrating ROSTR to students in classrooms at USC, Colorado State University, and Columbia University, and are excited to find out the different ways ROSTR is already being implemented in the curriculum for some of the top music business institutions out there.

"ROSTR provides our students with the opportunity to investigate, explore and to connect all-of-the-dots to succeed in the music industry in one simple-to-manage site."
- Mike Garcia, Music Industry Program Chair at University of Southern California

"We've introduced ROSTR into all our classes at Colorado State University Music Business. Students have found it to be an excellent resource for all kinds of research, including job search for both internships and full-time jobs. We are grateful to ROSTR for including CSU in their ROSTR for Colleges program. My fellow instructors and I look forward to utilizing ROSTR even more in classroom applications in Fall 2024."
- Eric M. Griffin, JD, Music Business Asst. Director at Colorado State University

If this initial pilot program goes well, we may open it up more in the future, continuing our commitment to fostering the growth and success of the next generation of music industry professionals by providing them with the tools and data they need to thrive.
