Kate Hudson, born on April 19, 1979, is an American actress known for her roles in various films and television series. She has received several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for an Academy Award. Hudson made her film debut in the 1998 drama "Desert Blue" and rose to prominence with her portrayal of Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe's musical drama "Almost Famous."
In addition to her acting career, Hudson has recently ventured into music, releasing her debut single, "Talk About Love," via Virgin Music Group. The song was co-written by Hudson with Linda Perry and Danny Fujikawa, who also shared production duties with Johan Carlsson. The music she has teased on social media indicates a pop style. Hudson has also revealed plans to release a full-length studio album sometime this year.
